The vast majority of Antique Tibetan Singing Bowls here are from our own private collection.  They include many of our personal favorites selected at source in the Himalayas over 25 years, and never intended for sale.  All are hand-forged and superior quality, with wonderful resonant and healing tones and multiple harmonics.  Some date from the 16th century and are incredibly rare.  Others are spectacular ‘talking’ or ‘fountain’ bowls…play them with a little water inside and listen and watch with amazement as they spring to life and communicate their unique gifts!

Every one of these rare and beautiful ancient bowls is special…with superlative sound and the look and feel of age and use.  Be guided by your intuition and choose one of these wonderful antique gems now, before your favorite goes…you will not be disappointed!  Testimonials.

 A Personal Tribute

The Maureen Wilkinson Memorial Fund

My beautiful artist and poet wife Maureen passed away on 30th October 2015.  We met on our first day at art school aged 16 and 17 and enjoyed 54 wonderful years together.  Our last holiday was in Nepal in March of this year, just before the earthquakes.  We loved its vibrant culture and people, but were constantly reminded of the extreme poverty and obscene injustices that many suffer.  We were particularly moved by the plight of the tens of thousands of trafficked, enslaved (debt bonded) and orphaned children, and we wondered how we might help lighten their burden in some way on our return home.  Sadly, Maureen’s illness and premature death prevented the realization of this charitable venture during her lifetime.  I have therefore set up a Memorial Fund in her name to specifically help rescued trafficked, enslaved and orphaned children in Nepal. Projects will depend on bowl sales, voluntary donations and the sale of prints of Maureen’s own beautiful artwork.  If you would like to know more, or perhaps make a donation or buy a print please visit her Facebook Page The Maureen Wilkinson Memorial Fund. Thank you. Fred

Antique Singing Bowls – The Book

Fred Wilkinson is currently writing a book ‘Antique Singing Bowls.’ It will focus on the various types of hand-forged antique Tibetan and Himalayan singing bowl and their unique physical and sonic characteristics, and offer practical guidance on choosing, playing, and collecting rare antique singing bowls.  It will be extensively illustrated with photographs of bowls from this private collection.  If you would like to receive advance notice of its publication please subscribe to our occasional newsletter here.
