Antique Jambati Singing Bowl. Note: A2 & E4 (Third Eye & Solar Plexus Chakras)

Weight 856 grams (1 lb 4 oz).  Size 21 x 9.5 cm (8 ¼ x 3 ¾ inches)

This is a small (for this bowl type) antique Jambati Singing Bowl with a vibrant and low perfect pitch second octave A2 fundamental (109Hz) when struck with a padded mallet.  The  rim note is different…a middle octave E4 (327Hz) when played with a suede ringer, and Eb5 (625Hz) with a wooden one.

This bowl has very fine walls that produce a lot of vibrant energy, hence its low voice when struck. Normally such low notes are only produced by much larger and heavier bowls.  This one is light for its size which makes it easy to hold in the hand to strike or play.  There are faint decorative circles at its center and below the outer rim.

It is in good condition and is structurally sound and clean.

A Tibetan silk brocade cushion and a ringer are included in the price.

Listen: ( 3 struck notes and 2 played notes, suede ringer then wood).
