We purchased this small collection of Pre-Columbian ceramics from a couple of antique shops located in the forecourt of the wonderful Gold Museum in Lima, Peru, at least 25 years ago. The shopkeepers told us that they regularly bought and sold ceramic grave goods that were initially offered to the museum. These small pieces were on display with price tags and openly offered for sale to members of the public. We carried them home in our suitcases, and displayed them as a group at home until recently...in a glass-fronted kitchen cabinet!
Each piece is individually priced, but we would accept £1,000 (about US$1,540) for the collection of all 7 pieces (a 25% discount).
