Antique Lingam Singing Bowl. Notes: A4 & Eb6 (Third Eye & Solar Plexus Chakras)

Weight: 505 grams (1 lb 2oz).  Size: 13.5 x 6.5 cm (5 ¼ x 2 ½ inches)

This small 19th Century Lingam Singing Bowl has a sheered lip and tiny decorative dots encircling the inner and outer rim.  The neat lingam at its centre is surrounded by two sets of decorative circles, and there is a matching yoni or navel underneath.

The fundamental note is a nice middle octave A4 (436Hz - 438Hz) when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer.  The rim note changes to a high sixth octave Eb6 (1228Hz) with a wooden ringer.

It is has some wear to the outer wall but is structurally sound, clean and stain-free, with an aged patina and antique bronze colour.

A nice little antique bowl that fits comfortably in the palm of the hand for playing.

A double-ended teak and suede ringer is included in the price.
