Antique Remuna-Lingam Singing Bowl.  Note: C4 (Root Chakra)
Weight 486 grams (1 lb 1 ¼ oz).   Size 14.5 x 8.5 cm (5 ¾ x 3 ¼ inches)

This is a rare and exquisite quality antique Remuna-Lingam Singing Bowl with a fabulous middle octave C4 (264Hz) fundamental when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim.

It has the most beautiful shape with sensual satin smooth walls and a grooved lip.  There is a prominent pointed lingam surrounded by circles at its centre, and a matching navel or yoni underneath.

Lingam bowls have a very distinctive sound, and Remuna bowls are renowned for their beautiful voices and ease of play.  This lovely bowl combines the best of both.

It is in excellent structural condition, clean and stain-free, with a nice matt golden bronze colour.

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion and a double-ended teak and suede ringer are included in the price.

A superb example of this very rare bowl form, and one of the nicest bowls in my collection.  You won’t be disappointed!
